Hi, I'm Katelin

I'm a designer based in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in identity and web design. In 2013, I graduated from Webster University with a B.F.A in Graphic Design and minors in Web Design and Development. Since then, I'm proud to have worked with a variety of clients, including local businesses, non-profits, and the government, to achieve thoughtful design solutions that promote each of their unique goals and messages.

When asked to comment on the term “graphic design” in an interview, Paula Scher replied with, “I actually prefer to say I'm a visual planner.” This is how I have come to approach my own work. When I begin a project, I like to analyze the subject before I start to visualize it, so that I can bring structure and clarity to its message. During my process, I try to find a balance between text and image, restraint and flexibility, concept and creativity.

In my spare time, I create way too many playlists on Spotify, travel when I can, and explore the incredible craft beer scene in St. Louis with my husband. Also, my beagle is kind of famous.
